The Wealden Christmas Wishlist

At Wealden Funerals we believe in supporting our local community in every way possible. Very often, the forgotten within our community, especially at this time of year, are the elderly. Sadly, there are many elderly people in local residential care homes who will have no relatives to visit them over the festive period.

As a family-run, community focused business, we were thinking about what we could do to help them feel less lonely and support our fantastic local residential care homes, and the ‘Wealden Christmas Wishlist’ was born! We want to ensure residents have lots of lovely gifts

We are asking local people and local businesses for help – to donate small gifts for elderly residents. Can you help?

We are looking for small gifts that can be quickly wrapped and transported and are relevant to our older generation. Items such as:

• Sweet Jars
• Puzzle Books
• Puzzles
• Shower gel
• Moisturiser
• General toiletries
• Reed diffuser
• Face Flannel
• Hand Cream
• Nail Care (file, clippers)
• Slipper socks,
• Notepads
• Hair Care (brush/comb)
• Board Games
• Simple Craft Kits
• Chocolate Sets
• Board Games
